The Great Ocean RoadWeaving its way around Victoria’s south-west coast, the Great Ocean Road is one of the most magnificent, scenic coastal drives in the world and is rated one of Australia’s greatest tourism assets. Travelling from Melbourne across the West Gate Bridge follow the M1 to the outskirts of Geelong approx 70kms, then take the Geelong bypass to Colac and the Great Ocean Road follow through to the end which brings you out at Waun Ponds. Turn right at the lights onto the A1, proceed approx 1 km then turn left onto the Anglesea Road proceed to the first roundabout, turn left, then proceed to the next roundabout, turn right onto Surf Coast Road which will take you to Torquay (approximately 10kms) to begin your Great Ocean Road experience. |
